Hancom Assistant is the first in South Korea to receive an 'AX usability certification' as the micro-agent era begins. [DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Hancom said on Feb. 12 that its AI agent Hancom Assistant received an 'AX (AI Transformation) usability certification' from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).

The AX usability certification is an evaluation system developed by TTA based on the international standard ISO/IEC 25023 and reflecting global big tech AI guidelines. Hancom Assistant passed strict tests across 20 detailed criteria, including ease of learning, operational convenience and error responsiveness, Hancom said. It also stressed that the product's practicality in real workplaces was objectively proven.

Hancom plans to use the certification as a starting point to quickly bring to market a lineup of micro-agent products that consolidate its existing document-technology capabilities.

Hancom Chief Executive Kim Yeon-su (김연수) said, "Securing the AX usability certification is an important milestone that shows how much convenience Hancom's AI technology can provide to users in actual work environments." He said, "Through the AI transformation we have been 추진ing companywide from this year to internalise capabilities, we will first apply our micro agents by job function and, by supplying verified solutions to the market, re-emerge as a game changer in the work-efficiency market."
