W Games posted its highest revenue since its founding last year, but profitability declined.

On Feb. 12, W Games disclosed that on a consolidated basis for full-year 2025 it posted revenue of 719.9 billion won, operating profit of 232.1 billion won and net profit of 179.8 billion won.

Revenue rose 13.6 percent from a year earlier to a record high, but operating profit fell 6.7 percent. Net profit was also tallied as down 26.1 percent from a year earlier.

For the fourth quarter, it posted revenue of 199.8 billion won and operating profit of 63.9 billion won. From a year earlier, revenue rose 28.3 percent and operating profit gained 5.6 percent. From the previous quarter, revenue increased 7.3 percent and operating profit climbed 8.0 percent. Fourth-quarter net profit, however, slumped to 44.6 billion won, down 42.7 percent from a year earlier and down 20.9 percent from the previous quarter.

Last year's top-line growth was led by growth in iGaming and Paxie Games, the impact of consolidating Wow Games, and stable growth in the existing business divisions. In particular, the share of revenue from direct-to-consumer channels in the social casino segment expanded, and the share of revenue from new businesses rose, diversifying the portfolio.

This year, W Games will seek to improve performance around three core businesses: social casino, iGaming and casual. It plans to strengthen profitability by pursuing initiatives including enhancing social casino DTC, launching new iGaming brands and releasing 40 to 50 new casual titles annually.

A company official said, "Fourth-quarter results reflect a combination of social casino's stable profit base, expanded DTC and the effects of strategic mergers and acquisitions." The official added, "We will continue to expand the profit contribution of our core businesses."
