LG Hellovision said on Feb. 12 it delivered Lunar New Year holiday gift sets made up of local specialties to 100 vulnerable households in Haenam County.
The support was funded with proceeds from a regional channel commerce "local co-prosperity donation special exhibition" that ran for three weeks from November last year. The gift sets included 10 local specialty items, including Haenam rice, dried greens and laver. A handover ceremony was held on Feb. 11 at Haenam County Office, attended by Min-seop Shin (신민섭), head of LG Hellovision's Western Media Bureau at its Honam Broadcasting, and Hyeon-gwan Myung (명현관), the head of Haenam County, among others.
Sung-won Lim (임성원), an executive director at LG Hellovision, said, "We will continue a co-prosperity model that promotes local products through regional channel commerce and shares the results again with local neighbors."
