AI agent development platform startup Wonderful AI has raised $150 million in Series B funding, SiliconANGLE reported on March 13 local time.

The funding round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from Index Ventures, IVP, Bessemer Venture Partners and Vine Ventures. Wonderful AI was valued at $2 billion in the round.

Wonderful AI provides a software platform that lets users develop natural language-based AI agents. Developers can extend functions through a low-code editor. The platform can integrate with external services and set work restrictions. For example, it can add a search function to a customer support agent so it automatically pulls troubleshooting information from the web.

Wonderful AI tests performance through simulation tools before deploying agents. It closely checks edge cases that are likely to produce technical issues. To do this, it applied a method that uses a quality evaluation system optimised for AI workloads to reduce errors.

After deployment, it provides a dashboard to monitor performance such as response speed and accuracy. It also supports a reasoning trace feature that can track the AI agent’s decision-making process. This allows customers to improve AI automation efficiency and optimise business processes.
