Nexth said on Tuesday it has begun pre-registration for 'Seal M on Cross', which it is co-publishing with PlaywithKorea.
'Seal M on Cross' is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that inherits the feel of the PC online game 'Seal Online'.
The game features the integration of a 'full-stack ecosystem' spanning blockchain technology, community and payment systems from Cross, an on-chain gaming platform. It said this will offer users a more immersive blockchain gaming experience.
In particular, it applies 'game play first' tokenomics, in which gameplay itself leads to value creation. Users can convert the game's key in-game currency, 'Shiltz Crystal', obtainable through seasonal rankings and mission completion, into the on-chain token 'SHILTZx' for use within the Cross ecosystem.
It also said it plans to cap the supply of 'Shiltz Crystal' at 10,000,000 per season to stabilise its value. It is designed to be used for exclusive purchases of 'Opatz', a major in-game item, with the aim of building a sustainable virtuous-cycle economic structure.
Nexth CEO Hyun-kuk Jang (장현국) said, "Based on the successful service of Rohan2 Global, we have expanded co-publishing to 'Seal M on Cross', further strengthening the partnership between the two companies." He added, "We will present a differentiated blockchain game service based on the full-stack ecosystem built by Nexth, including the stablecoin-based 0 percent fee CrossPay and the streaming platform CrossWave 2.0."
