Microsoft will unveil its AI-based medical assistant Copilot Health, SiliconANGLE reported on March 12.

Copilot Health will be offered to U.S. adults through a waitlist. Microsoft also plans multilingual support. Users can enter medical data to get health information including interpretation of test results, doctor searches and preparation for medical visits.

The company said Copilot Health provides reliable answers based on data from medical institutions in 50 countries, and more sophisticated analysis is possible when users enter medical information.

Copilot Health links with HealthEx, a cloud platform that integrates data from U.S. healthcare providers, and analyses users' medical records to provide tailored information. It also works with Function Health to automatically pull in test results. It is compatible with more than 50 wearable devices, including the Apple Watch, and analyses biometric data such as heart rate, body temperature and sleep patterns. Personal medical information is stored in encrypted form, and users can set security options such as deleting records and disconnecting devices.
