Woori Investment Securities said on Feb. 11 it is recruiting its first customer panel to spread a consumer-focused management culture and reflect financial consumers' views across its overall management.
The introduction of the customer panel system follows a declaration at the Group Financial Consumer Protection Council on Feb. 2, attended by Woori Financial Group affiliates' chief consumer protection officers (CCOs), to fully shift to a pre-emptive consumer protection system.
The customer panel will run for 1 year and will participate in surveys about twice a year.
The surveys will cover items including Woori Investment Securities' service quality and consumer satisfaction, and opinions on improving financial products and services.
Selected panel members will receive a 50,000 won gift certificate, with another 50,000 won gift certificate paid upon completing activities. Additional gift certificates will be given to outstanding participants.
A Woori Investment Securities official said, "We will strive to make customers' financial lives more convenient while also doing our best to strengthen financial consumer protection."
