Viva Republica, operator of Toss, said on Tuesday it donated more than 2,100 copies of its lifestyle economy magazine 'The Money Issue (THE MONEY ISSUE) Vol.1. One Serving of Life' to students and young people. The magazine was published in November last year.

Of the donated copies, 1,300 were provided to young people. The book will be used in 249 youth spaces nationwide after being distributed through 17 regional youth centres nationwide via the Youth Foundation.

It also carried out donations for students. Working with about 30 local bookstores nationwide, it ran a gift event for high school and university students and distributed 660 copies. Through a collaboration with 'Dasi Bookstore', it donated 200 copies to students at 8 middle and high schools among 57 schools nationwide scheduled to close in 2026.

The donation set included 'The Money Issue', along with Toss' mini brand book 'The Toss' and the '2026 Toss Lucky Calendar', which features Korean traditions and lucky totems from around the world. Toss expects the donation, using content as a medium, to help young people and students naturally talk and debate about finance.

A Toss official said, "The Money Issue is content that explains finance not as a problem of a specific situation but as questions that anyone encounters in daily life." The official added, "We hope this donation helps young people and students encounter finance in spaces close to their daily lives and use it freely."
