[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] AI-based data security company Cohesity said on Wednesday it has rolled out updates across its data protection and security portfolio to strengthen the foundation for enterprise AI resilience.
The updates unveiled at the "Cohesity Catalyst on Tour" event include new sovereign cloud partnerships, enhanced threat detection capabilities and simplified packaging designed to help mid-sized companies use enterprise-grade features at a reasonable cost, the company said.
Cohesity also unveiled its "Enterprise AI Resilience" strategy to accelerate and protect AI initiatives, along with a Cyera-based Cohesity DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) solution. It also strengthened its vision for the AI era by expanding Cohesity Gaia capabilities to integrate data protection, security and AI-driven insights on a single platform.
Vasu Murthy (바수 머시), Cohesity's chief product officer, said, "AI maximises the value of data while bringing new risks." He said resilience that companies need today is the ability to detect threats early, rapidly recover to a verified known good state and control complex environments at modern scale and speed. "These updates focus on further solidifying the trusted data protection and security foundation as customers adopt AI in earnest, while expanding the platform's accessibility and usability," he said. "Cohesity will accelerate innovation by providing data protection and security through an integrated platform," he added.
Lee Sang-hoon (이상훈), head of Cohesity Korea, said, "As the use of AI expands, the ability to manage data protection, security and regulatory compliance in an integrated way is becoming central to corporate competitiveness." "Through an integrated platform, Cohesity will support domestic companies so they can minimise security risks even in a complex regulatory environment, secure reliable, data-based AI capabilities and prepare for the AI era safely and competitively," he said.
