AI agent security startup Keycard is acquiring identity management company Anchor.dev, SiliconANGLE reported on Monday.

Keycard CEO Ian Livingston (이안 리빙스톤) said, "As AI agents gain more and more authority, security and trust issues are becoming important," and added, "Through this acquisition, we will further strengthen AI agent security technology."

Keycard provides short-term, task-based credentials to control agent access. It supports maintaining security without requiring developers to approve every task.

With the acquisition, Keycard plans to expand its platform for unified management of AI agent behavior and strengthen auditing for API calls and CLI commands. Former Anchor CEO Wesley Beary (웨슬리 비어리) said, "Just as we simplified identity management at Anchor, we will innovate AI agent security at Keycard."
