Enterprise solutions company Younglimwon SoftLab said on Feb. 10 it signed a partnership agreement with Inha Technical College to designate it as a specialised education centre for enterprise resource planning (ERP).

The agreement was designed to strengthen enrolled students’ job competitiveness and job capabilities based on practical ERP training, and to foster practical talent needed in management workplaces.

Through the cooperation, Inha Technical College’s Department of Management Secretary Studies will be operated as an ERP specialised education centre.

Younglimwon SoftLab and Inha Technical College plan to build a cooperation framework covering ERP education, practice and certification acquisition. They plan to support students so they can systematically build practical ERP skills through the college curriculum.

Younglimwon SoftLab will provide an ERP practice system for training and related textbooks to operate the specialised education centre. Students will be able to receive practice-focused training using the cloud ERP SystemEver, whose stability and scalability have been proven across various industries, and it said it expects students will be able to build job capabilities with high on-site applicability through training linked to certification tracks such as ERP Information Manager.

Inha Technical College President Seong-chan Kim (김성찬) said the agreement would create an environment where students can systematically build practical capabilities based on systems used by companies, rather than stopping at theoretical training. He said the college would work with Younglimwon SoftLab to raise students’ job competitiveness and foster professional vocational workers who can be used immediately in industrial settings. Younglimwon SoftLab CEO Young-beom Kwon (권영범) said that, as an ERP specialist company, it sees cooperation with education sites to foster practical talent as one of its important responsibilities. He said the agreement would help expand the ERP education ecosystem and contribute to systematically nurturing talent demanded in industrial settings.
