Netmarble said on Wednesday it will officially launch its new monster-taming action role-playing game 'Mongil: Star Dive' on April 15 on PC and mobile platforms worldwide, excluding China and Vietnam.

'Mongil: Star Dive' is a sequel to the mobile collection RPG 'Monster Taming,' released in 2013 and widely loved.

Ahead of its official release, 'Mongil: Star Dive' has improved the game’s completeness through two rounds of domestic and overseas closed beta tests. It has also taken part in major global game events such as Germany’s Gamescom and Japan’s Tokyo Game Show to communicate with global users.

After drawing attention by unveiling for the first time a new region and characters with Korean elements at G-Star 2025, it released an on-site demonstration and a playthrough video in collaboration with Xbox at GDC 2026, which has been underway in San Francisco since March 9.

Kim Geon (김건), head of Netmarble Monster, said, "We are putting all our efforts into final development work to present 'Mongil: Star Dive' on April 15 at the highest level of completeness." He said, "We will repay global users who have been waiting for the launch with a game that meets their expectations."
