Line Plus said on Wednesday it has launched its AI agent infrastructure platform ActEngine AI and is stepping up its entry into the business-to-business AI market.
Act Engine AI aims to provide an action-oriented AI agent infrastructure that goes beyond simple chatbots and cost-efficiency-focused AI adoption. It is designed to contribute to corporate revenue growth by executing real work and improving performance. As AI-driven work restructuring accelerates across industries, it is expected to serve as an "AI transformation" partner for customer service and sales innovation.
The platform’s customer service-focused agent executes actual work processes and learns from results to continuously improve performance. Companies can easily build AI agents through an integrated operating portal and automate customer support tasks, including responding to inquiries, handling complaints and resolving issues.
The sales-focused agent’s core feature is proactive proposals that analyse real-time data and decide on its own whom to approach, when and with what strategy. It analyses multidimensional data such as customers’ order patterns, visit cycles and discount sensitivity to generate and send customised promotions. It also refines large volumes of company data into forms suitable for AI training and builds optimal data pipelines, based on Line Plus’ know-how in handling high traffic volumes and its global-level security infrastructure.
The customer service-focused AI agent, officially launched in January, automatically handles about 360,000 inquiries a year. It cut processing time by more than 60 percent and improved accuracy by 16 percent compared with existing professional counsellors. The sales-focused AI agent, officially launched on Feb. 26, provides 24-hour customised sales support for small merchants with 1 to 2 employees and has contributed to creating additional sales opportunities.
Yod Chinsupakul (요드 친수파쿨), chief executive of Line Man Wongnai, said ActEngine AI will be an opportunity to advance customer service operations and sales for marketplace partners based on AI and data.
Shin Hyunjun (신현준), head of Line Plus’ B2B AI business, said the company plans to expand into a range of industries including finance and distribution based on performance verified at a Thai delivery platform. He added it will establish itself in Asia and global markets as a key business partner that drives revenue growth beyond simple operational efficiency.
Line Plus is also preparing voice-based AI agents that can be applied to actual customer service and sales environments, beyond text-based agents.
