[DigitalToday Lee Ho-jung] SOOP on Feb. 10 unveiled its '2026 Lunar New Year special page' where users can check Lunar New Year special content at a glance. The page provides information on key content during the holiday period, including streamer live broadcasts, Cineti content and events.

In the live tab, special content featuring streamers during the Lunar New Year holiday period will be scheduled. A 'Cooking Newbie Escape Program' will feature streamers unfamiliar with cooking taking on a challenge, and a 'Gold Pouch Battle' will show new streamers carrying out missions. SOOP will also offer a 'Lunar New Year global streamer exchange tour' in which global streamers experience Korea's Lunar New Year culture and interact, with live broadcasts in various formats continuing during the holiday.

Variety-style content featuring virtual streamers will also be released in sequence, including the military life experiential variety show 'Chubyeongdae' featuring streamer Gamst, as well as a 'Lunar New Year special virtual crew battle' and a 'Croa yutnori team contest'.

'Cineti', which streamers and users watch together while communicating, will also present a Lunar New Year holiday lineup. A separate tab will be operated for films, dramas and animation, and the detailed lineup will be unveiled in an official communication broadcast on Feb. 13.

In the events tab, tournament-style events featuring streamers and user-participation events will be run together. 'Lunar New Year Grand Festival: Not-So-Ordinary Moving', using Eavna Games' game 'WASD', will take place over two days on Feb. 14 and 15. A total of 13 teams of four, or 52 streamers, will take part. Separately, a 'VOD and Cineti Lunar New Year event' has also been prepared. Users can easily take part through simple missions such as producing Lunar New Year special VODs, watching Cineti content and joining in cheering for their favorite streamers. The event will run from before the Lunar New Year holiday period through Feb. 22, after the holiday.
