[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] AI-based new and variant malware response solution provider NPCore said on Feb. 9 it signed a strategic partnership in November with SOC Prime, a global threat detection rule platform, and has moved to full-scale product sales as the exclusive domestic reseller from February.
NPCore will supply the Prime platform to major domestic security operations environments, including finance, the public sector and large companies. It will provide technical support and operating services.
According to the company, SOC Prime is a threat detection content platform used by more than 11,000 organizations worldwide and 42 percent of Fortune 100 companies. It provides detection rules within 24 hours when new cyberattacks occur.
The core technology is Sigma Rule, a detection rule language optimized for log- and behavior-based threat detection, the company said. It said the platform supports applying the latest threat detection without changing existing security infrastructure such as SIEM, EDR and XDR, and helps secure consistent detection quality and operational efficiency in heterogeneous security environments.
NPCore plans to provide the SOC Prime platform linked with its integrated threat detection and response solution ZombieZERO Inspector X, as well as its EDR and APT response product lineup.
