[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee (이지영)] KB Kookmin Bank said on Monday it will recruit participating companies through March 20 for the "2026 1st KB Goodjob Job Fair for Top Firms".

The KB Goodjob Job Fair for Top Firms is being run as part of the "KB Kookmin Hope Project," which is aimed at "creating a better Republic of Korea together with the people," to practice inclusive finance such as creating jobs for young people and in regions.

The job fair will be held on April 27 at COEX Hall A in Seoul. It is set to offer job seekers a range of hiring opportunities with participation from top firms recommended by KB Financial Group, partners of large companies, KOSDAQ-listed companies and small but strong companies for youth employment.

The fair will also operate, in part, a "Team Fit Connect Zone" where applicants can communicate directly with company working-level teams and check organisational fit, reflecting hiring trends that place importance on teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.

KB Kookmin Bank will also provide support to ease participating companies' burdens from labour costs and financial expenses. It will pay a hiring subsidy of 1 million won per full-time employee hired, up to 10 million won per company per year, and offer an interest rate preferential of up to 1.3 percentage points when applying for new loans.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope this job fair will add vitality to the employment market and serve as an opportunity for job seekers and companies to grow together." The official added, "We will continue to work to strengthen the virtuous-cycle ecosystem for jobs by supporting small and medium-sized and mid-sized companies and expanding productive finance."
