Part-time job platform Albamon said on Sunday it has overhauled its main screen based on AI-powered personalised recommendations.

The revamp was carried out to coincide with the timing of JobKorea’s unveiling of its new corporate name, Worxphere. It focused on redesigning the service user experience so users can move quickly from installing the app to applying for job postings.

Albamon first applies a recommendation model that incorporates its in-house AI solution, LOOP Ai, to provide personalised job postings on the service’s main screen. Job seekers can view a list of postings recommended by AI based on their application and search history. It removed mandatory information entry and the resume-writing step that had been required after sign-up, and users can enter the information later when applying.

Easy registration based on social accounts such as Kakao was also expanded. Procedures required to apply for part-time jobs were simplified for members without resumes.

Albamon said it expects the revamp to shorten the time spent searching for part-time jobs and to boost applications by allowing users to view personalised postings from the main screen.

JobKorea Chief Technology Officer Yoseop Kim (김요섭) said, "As the number of part-time job seekers increases, we are stepping up in-house development so they can find part-time jobs faster and more easily, while actively leveraging top-level AI technology to carry out this revamp." He added, "As a unique part-time job platform with the largest number of job postings and users, we will continue to enhance AI-based matching accuracy and the personalised experience to connect people with jobs."
