[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee (이지영)] Shinhan Bank said on Feb. 9 it will run a 'Seoul Delivery Plus mutual benefit discount promotion' through Feb. 15 as the public delivery app Ttaenggyeoyo teams up with Seoul and seven major pizza brands to help stabilise dining-out prices and support small business owners.
During the promotion, customers can use the pizza brands’ own discount benefits and Seoul Delivery Plus discount coupons provided by Ttaenggyeoyo and Seoul. They can receive discounts of up to 13,000 won.
Ttaenggyeoyo is operated with a low brokerage fee of 2 percent to support small business owners struggling with high brokerage fees on existing delivery platforms. It has also signed public delivery app business agreements with 24 of Seoul’s 25 districts and continues to expand cooperation.
A Shinhan Bank official at Ttaenggyeoyo said, "As the sole operator of Seoul Delivery Plus, we prepared this promotion with Seoul to boost the use of public delivery services." The official added, "We will continue to expand programmes that add vitality to local commercial districts based on cooperation with Seoul."
