LG HelloVision will review the competitiveness of its products and services from a customer perspective and improve management efficiency to build a sustainable growth base.
On Jan. 2, LG HelloVision CEO Song Ku-young delivered New Year greetings to employees in a video message. Song encouraged employees for their work last year and stressed his commitment to building a foundation for sustainable growth by strengthening business competitiveness and fundamentals.
"Over the past year, there were many changes amid various challenging conditions," Song said. "This year must be a year to reset the company's direction and prepare for recovery and growth together."
He also said the new year must be the year the company turns around its earnings. He outlined key management priorities of strengthening business competitiveness, building a growth base through greater management efficiency, and reinforcing fundamentals.
Song stressed it is important to recheck competitiveness from a customer perspective and safeguard the essential value of the business. He said the company should overhaul operations overall through management efficiency and shift to a structure that can generate earnings on an ongoing basis.
LG HelloVision will strengthen its growth base through streamlining by focusing on priorities and improving management efficiency. "Personal information protection and service quality are the starting point of all businesses and standards that cannot be compromised under any circumstances," Song said. He said the company will apply stricter standards and principles across its businesses.
He concluded by saying he wants to steadily build a sustainable growth structure together. He said he hopes to make 2026 a year to build up new growth opportunities one by one and make the company stronger.
