Saemaul Geumgo Federation said on Feb. 6 it held a "2026 key business briefing" on Feb. 5 at its headquarters in Gangnam district, Seoul.

Chairman Kim In (김인) and staff, along with regional headquarters chiefs nationwide, attended the meeting. They reviewed major achievements from the past year and shared groupwide strategy and business direction to respond to changes in the 2026 management environment.

The federation plans to push key initiatives this year including balanced development of local communities and Saemaul Geumgo, strengthening Saemaul Geumgo's financial soundness, expanding social solidarity finance and promoting a productivity-focused AX drive.

Kim said, "We will faithfully fulfill our role as a financial cooperative that stands with ordinary people." He added, "We will work with our employees so that Saemaul Geumgo can establish itself as a trusted financial institution as a foundation of the local economy."
