ResolveAI, which specializes in automating system reliability engineering (SRE), has raised $125 million in a Series A funding round, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 4.
The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Existing investors including Greylock Partners, Unusual Ventures and Artisanal Ventures also participated. In the deal, ResolveAI was valued at $1 billion, reaching unicorn status.
ResolveAI was co-founded in 2024 by Spyros Xanthos (스피로스 잰토스) and Mayank Agarwal (마양크 아가왈), both former Splunk employees. The two previously founded system monitoring startup Omnition and sold it to Splunk. ResolveAI provides a solution that uses AI to automate SRE tasks to detect and recover from system failures.
Traversal, which also uses AI to help address system outage issues, is competing with ResolveAI.
