Bitwise Asset Management will acquire Chorus One, a staking services provider for institutional investors, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 4, citing Bloomberg News.
The specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
With demand for on-chain yield products rising in the cryptocurrency market, Bitwise is seen as seeking to expand its presence in staking through the deal.
Chorus One provides staking services for decentralised networks and currently stakes $2.2 billion in assets.
