Snowflake, an AI data cloud company, said on Tuesday it will introduce a suite of products to help companies move data and AI projects from the idea stage to production environments faster.
The newly introduced products include development tools, an environment that supports interoperability and trusted AI agents.
Snowflake officially launched Cortex Code, a data-native coding agent. Cortex Code understands the context of corporate data and supports the entire process from building data pipelines to analytics and AI application development.
It also officially launched Semantic View Autopilot, an AI-based service that automates semantic view creation and governance. An AI agent produces consistent and reliable analytical results based on a shared understanding of business metrics.
New functions for Snowflake Postgres are also set for official release. This will allow companies to run Postgres directly on the Snowflake AI data cloud, integrating and operating transaction processing, analytics and AI use on a secure single platform.
Christian Kleinerman (크리스티안 클레이너만), Snowflake's executive vice president of product, said, "For AI to deliver true value, it must move beyond experimentation and be deeply embedded across the systems an organisation uses every day." He added, "With this announcement, Snowflake will integrate AI directly into the development lifecycle and make data AI-ready from the design stage so companies can generate tangible business outcomes."
