The Korean Incident Response Team Conference, CONCERT, chaired by Yoo-jae Won (원유재), said on Feb. 4 it published “CONCERT FORECAST 2026: Corporate Information Security Issue Outlook Report,” which analyses the concerns and annual business plans of security managers at domestic companies.
This year’s report focuses on “redefining the role of security and the scope of responsibility.” CONCERT structured the report into four sections: plans, concerns, solutions expected to be hot this year, and requests for policy authorities. It stressed that it added multiple-choice questions to secure objectivity in response distributions and strengthened in-depth interviews to focus on analysing the “context” of security managers hidden behind the figures.
CONCERT Secretary-General Sang-hyun Shim (심상현) said, “This report is a record of the vivid concerns faced by corporate information security organisations,” adding, “I hope it will become a useful reference for both information security users and suppliers in setting future response directions.”
The report is available for free download from the notices section on the CONCERT website. CONCERT also plans to hold the “CONCERT FORECAST 2026 - Corporate Information Security Issue Outlook Seminar” on March 20 at the Grand Hall of the Yangjae aT Center.
