[DigitalToday reporter Shin-hye Ahn] Asung Daiso said on Tuesday that Daisomall will run the 'Daiso-DAY Heart-Pounding Beauty Week' promotion.

The event targets Valentine's Day and runs from Tuesday to Feb. 8. It will showcase about 370 items through 'Beauty Week Open Run', which reveals new beauty products at 9 a.m. daily, and 'MD’s Pick', among other programs.

Beauty Week Open Run, running from Feb. 4 to Feb. 6, will introduce new products for Valentine's Day. On Feb. 4, three types of 'VT Reedle Shot Essence Lip Plumper' and four types of 'The Bom Skinny Brow' will be released. Products from 'Zoom by Jung Saem Mool' launched in January will also be restocked for a fifth time. On Feb. 5, 'Lanoia Body Cream Mist', 'Medipeel Melanon X', 'Cellderma Daily' and 'Bath Project' will be released. On Feb. 6, Youngjin Pharmaceutical's albumin and kids probiotics products, among others, will be released.

MD’s Pick will curate products related to the Valentine's Day season. Selected items include marshmallows and chocolate products with high demand due to the recent popularity of Dubai jjonddeuk cookies, and gift-wrapping supplies.

Daisomall will run a hidden event in which customers receive an additional shipping-fee coupon if they find chocolates hidden on the event page. It will also run an attendance event that allows customers to collect hearts each day and earn up to 3,000 points.

An Asung Daiso official said, "We have set up a venue where customers can see new beauty products to mark Valentine's Day." The official added, "Daiso plans to continue holding events to increase the fun and satisfaction of shopping."
