[DigitalToday reporter Seulgi Son] IT services company ITCEN Entec said on Tuesday it unveiled its Artificial Intelligence Education Platform (AIEP), jointly developed with 11 regional education offices and the National Information Society Agency (NIA), at the Korea Education Expo last month.

The platform is designed to allow private edtech functions to be flexibly introduced based on the stability of public education infrastructure. It also provides an integrated single sign-on (SSO) environment that lets users access multiple services with one account, maximising convenience for teachers and students.

To ensure scalability, it fully applied global technical standards such as OneRoster and cmi5. It aims to support the digital transformation of public education by enabling smooth links not only with big tech platforms such as Google and Naver but also with various private edtech services.

An ITCEN Entec official said it is a public education asset created in compliance with global standards with 11 regional education offices joining forces. The official said the company will spare no technical support so it can lead to tangible changes in classrooms and upgraded policies.
