AI-based HR intelligence solutions company Telta said on Tuesday it has launched an "AI Literacy Assessment" to objectively measure organisations' ability to use artificial intelligence.
Telta said it built the assessment system by analysing frameworks from global big tech firms such as OpenAI and Anthropic, and recruitment posting data from 30 Fortune-selected AX-leading companies. It empirically structured capabilities actually required in the field around two pillars: "understanding AI and recognising risks" and "using AI," going beyond a simple knowledge test.
Unlike existing survey methods, it introduced a written evaluation that directly uses a large language model. It measures the depth of ability by analysing how respondents solve problems in an AI environment. After the assessment, it also provides analysis results that can identify vulnerable areas across the organisation, along with individual reports.
Jeon So-young (전소영), a Telta executive, said, "AI transformation is moving beyond technology adoption to competition over organisations having utilisation capabilities." She added, "This assessment will be a first starting point for companies to objectively grasp employees' capability levels and set standards."
