[DigitalToday reporter Sangyeop Oh] Toss Securities said on Feb. 2 it will also offer its AI-based "real-time translation service for overseas companies’ earnings calls" (AI earnings call) on its web-based trading service (WTS), Toss Securities PC.
Toss Securities is the first in South Korea’s securities industry to provide real-time overseas companies’ earnings presentations in a PC environment.
Investors can compare the real-time translation and the companies’ official IR materials on one screen, allowing them to intuitively understand the context of remarks that include figures or charts.
It also upgraded for the PC environment key features previously available on mobile, including real-time translations and original text, "chapter view" for selecting and listening to major presentation segments, and AI summaries.
The Toss Securities AI earnings call service, launched in May last year, reached 1,500,000 cumulative users as of January in its first 9 months.
A Toss Securities official said, "The earnings call PC service is the result of reflecting customers’ needs to view company-related materials and earnings calls at the same time on a large screen." The official added, "We expect that through a wider screen, users will be able to grasp earnings presentations at a glance and continue their own in-depth investment analysis without interruption."
