ADT Caps, SK Shieldus' physical security brand, said on Wednesday that security team leader Lee Yongju received a commendation from the chief prosecutor of the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors Office in recognition of his contributions to protecting and supporting crime victims.

The company said the commendation reflected high praise for ADT Caps’ security team support in accompanying victims to court, which helped ensure their personal safety and played a decisive role in preventing secondary harm such as retaliatory crimes.

ADT Caps plans to further strengthen its social contribution activities to build community safety networks, aiming to minimise blind spots in crime and safety. From 2026, it plans to expand training to people with disabilities, their families and workers at related welfare institutions, and to systematise practice-focused education to strengthen capabilities in crime prevention and everyday safety. It will also offer training in everyday safety rules and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to improve crisis response.

Lee said, "Our role is to stay by their side in the moments crime victims fear most and ease their anxiety." He said the company would continue to strengthen cooperation with relevant institutions based on professional security capabilities, and do its best to improve safety standards across local communities as well as protect crime victims.
