Korea Exchange selected Mirae Asset Securities as the top integrated investment bank after evaluating investment banks that conducted listing underwriting in 2025.
Korea Exchange said on March 6 it announced the results of the 2025 KRX best IB selection and held an awards ceremony. It said the awards were notable for selecting an integrated top IB for the first time after changing a system previously run separately by market.
Korea Exchange explained it integrated the IB awards that had been operated separately by each market through 2024 and established a new integrated top IB representing the securities market starting this year.
Mirae Asset Securities was named Korea Exchange's top IB for 2025. The market-specific best IBs were KB Securities for the main board, Samsung Securities for KOSDAQ and IBK Investment & Securities for KONEX.
Korea Exchange said it evaluated winners by comprehensively considering contribution to the securities market, the quality of listed companies and the appropriateness of IB work performance. It said it selected securities firms that demonstrated underwriting capabilities and company discovery results in each market.
Eun-bo Jeong (정은보), chairman of Korea Exchange, said, "With the efforts of the IB industry over the past year, the competitiveness of Korea's capital market was able to be strengthened." He added, "This year as well, we will work to help Korea's capital market leap into a global premium market by strengthening standards for delisting distressed companies and expanding listings of innovative technology firms."
