KB Financial Group said on Thursday that cumulative views of its financial content platform, KB Think (KB's Thoughts), surpassed 50 million in two years. It introduced the platform in February 2024 as the first among South Korean financial groups.

KB Think delivers information produced from customer consultation data and search keywords, along with a range of topics tailored to customers.

It delivers easy and accurate information across everyday areas including savings, investment, loans, real estate, taxes, insurance and pensions. A key feature is that it is organically linked with the group’s core platforms such as KB Star Banking and KB Pay, based on content assets written by financial and economic experts from KB Financial’s main affiliates.

Content including "year-end tax settlement", "how to invest in ETFs", "opening an IRP account", "complete guide to stock taxes" and "how to exchange currency at Incheon Airport" is receiving strong interest as it suggests answers to customers’ practical concerns.

As more customers recently use search services powered by generative AI, the number of keywords from KB Think content exposed and cited on AI search services such as ChatGPT and Gemini has risen about fourfold from May last year.

It is also continuously publishing public-interest content aimed at preventing financial fraud, providing financial education for teenagers and supporting small business owners.

A KB Financial official said the group aims to be a financial content platform that helps all citizens easily understand finance and make rational decisions. The official said it would continue to establish itself as a leading platform that provides valuable content helping customers across their financial lives through channels including portal sites, AI platforms and KB Star Banking.
