Samsung Electronics plans to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026. Engadget compiled leaked rumours and reported on Jan. 30 local time that the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event is likely to be held on Feb. 25 local time.

The report said the Galaxy S26 series is expected to keep the existing design while strengthening internal performance. It is set to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th-generation chip. Some models may also use Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip. Models using the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th-generation chip are expected to have stronger on-device AI processing performance.

The Galaxy S26 is set to feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, 12GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage and a 4,300mAh battery. Its camera is expected to keep the same configuration as the current S25. The Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, a 4,900mAh battery and 12GB of RAM.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to change its camera design with a new metallic finish and use an aluminium frame. Samsung Electronics is also considering removing the S Pen digitiser layer to support the Qi2 charging standard, Engadget said.

Samsung also plans to unveil the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro. The new earbuds are expected to feature a smaller case and a smoother design, and include an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip to strengthen integration with the Google Find Hub network.
