LG Innotek said it is joining hands with its partner companies and declared it will make the leap into a solutions company. LG Innotek said on March 6 it held its 2026 Mutual Growth Co-Prosperity Day on March 5 at LG Sciencepark in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and signed fair trade and mutual growth agreements with about 100 partner companies. About 40 people attended, including CEO Moon Hyuk-soo (문혁수), company officials and representatives of major partner companies.

LG Innotek said it will support partner companies in various areas such as finance, ESG and training under the agreement. It said it has created a 143 billion won mutual growth fund this year to provide funding to partner companies at interest rates lower than those offered by commercial banks. It said 120 companies have used the fund so far, with cumulative support reaching 262 billion won.

It said it will continue its support programme for building smart factories. The scheme supports up to 60 percent of setup costs for partner companies that struggle with factory automation, and it is in its sixth year of operation. It said 37 companies have benefited so far.

It also said it is helping strengthen partner companies' ESG capabilities. LG Innotek said it provided ESG consulting to about 100 partner companies from 2022 to the present. It said it plans to support a capability-building programme this year to comply with due diligence guidelines for a sustainable supply chain. LG Innotek said it received the top grade for nine consecutive years in the shared growth index evaluation from 2017 through last year.

The company said it will also expand training programmes to strengthen partner competitiveness. LG Innotek said it will newly add an AI response capability training course this year to its "Partner Capability Enhancement Training Center". It said it has run hands-on training through the centre since 2023, including sharing production technology know-how and dispatching specialised personnel.

Moon said, "Thanks to our partner companies, LG Innotek is establishing itself as a 'trusted technology partner' that delivers outstanding customer value," and added, "Based on active co-prosperity cooperation with our partner companies, we will be reborn as a 'solutions company' that provides optimal solutions, beyond a parts company."
