Woori FIS, an IT specialist subsidiary of Woori Financial Group, held an ethics vision declaration ceremony at a first-half management strategy meeting on Jan. 29 and resolved to build a transparent and fair corporate culture, it said on Friday.

The ceremony was arranged to reset ethical management as the top priority in corporate management following the launch of a new leadership team and to strongly implement the enhancement of employees’ ethical awareness, a core corporate culture task for 2026.

Woori FIS officially declared “financial IT with ethics, a trusted Woori FIS” as its new ethics vision, and executives signed a pledge to comply with ethical management.

A hand-printing performance involving CEO Ko Young-soo, the head of the ethics and compliance support team and an employee representative visualised a strong pledge to realise responsible management through labour-management cooperation and to embed an ethical culture in the community.

Employees reaffirmed specific principles of conduct through a pledge of practice. These included fair performance of duties, including a ban on money and entertainment, creating a workplace of mutual respect, strict protection of internal information and establishing a healthy corporate culture, including eradicating sexual harassment and other improper conduct. They also promised to strictly comply with related ethics rules.

“Ethical management is an essential condition that supports a company’s sustainable growth,” Ko said. “Starting with this declaration ceremony, all employees will internalise ethical awareness and be reborn as a financial IT partner that is more trusted by customers and society.”
