Naver said on Jan. 30 it has opened a special page for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
Naver will livestream all events during the Olympics, which begin on Feb. 6, on Naver Sports and its streaming platform Chzzk. It plans to stream all competitions stably, including short track, speed skating, bobsleigh, curling and figure skating.
Chzzk will support a watch-together feature that lets streamers and fans communicate in real time while watching events. It plans to offer a range of preview and review content, including on-site broadcasts from Italy by popular streamers and joint broadcasts by current and former athletes.
In its short-form service Clip, it will provide videos created on site by creators and athletes. Naver will also set up community spaces such as Open Talk and Lounge to boost the atmosphere of support among users.
It will also introduce an AI briefing feature that summarises results and issues. It will provide information by linking related videos and clips, and users will be able to check everything in real time, from results of matches held the previous night and at dawn to medal tallies. For major events such as the opening and closing ceremonies, Naver will apply a special logo on the main page of the Naver app.
Geon-beom Joo (주건범), leader of Naver Sports & Entertainment Service, said, "Starting with the Winter Olympics, we are preparing various events using global popular IP such as the North and Central America World Cup and EWC," and added, "We will provide a differentiated content experience focused on participation and communication."
