Elementa on Jan. 29 unveiled its new mobile game 'V Project' for the first time.
'V Project' is an immersive 3D idol game. In the promotional video (PV) released on the day, it presented high-end art visuals. It applies cartoon rendering plus technology to maximize the liveliness distinctive to subculture characters. Near-realistic background depiction and lighting are used to raise overall texture and immersion on screen.
The video first revealed three main characters: 'Lee', 'Near' and 'OCT'. The game's core concept is touch. It is a device that connects users and idols through empathy. The PV organically showed a first-person perspective that watches over everyday life and an omniscient perspective that depicts relationships between characters.
This direction is also applied in actual play. Users experience the narrative in a three-dimensional way through multi-angle viewpoint switching. In first-person view, they feel characters' inner monologues, and in omniscient view, they follow the flow of the main story. In fan view, they can watch high-quality 3D stages and music videos. It also has a structure in which users collect fragmented episodes to complete the full story.
