Kiwoom Securities said on Dec. 31 it held a completion ceremony on Dec. 29 for the fourth cohort of its Kiwoom Dreamer programme.

Kiwoom Dreamer is a high school economic education mentoring course launched last year as part of ESG, or environmental, social and governance initiatives. Kiwoom Securities and UIC, the Nationwide University Investment Club Association, work together to provide mentoring that delivers economic knowledge to high school students and helps them broaden their economic perspective.

The fourth Kiwoom Dreamer cohort ran for four months from September. A total of 56 people, including university and high school students, took part from Yeokgok High School in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, Jeil High School in Gwangju and Namseong Girls' High School in Busan.

A Kiwoom Securities official said, "We will continue to provide full support so that young people can improve financial literacy and grow into future talent."
