[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Preneu, a company specialising in unmanned aircraft, said on Jan. 29 it will officially launch a free app service, DRONEiT HUB, for iOS and Android on Feb. 1.
The company said DRONEiT HUB is an app developed to immediately analyse log data generated after a drone flight in a mobile environment rather than on a PC. It supports field-based decision-making and improved efficiency in drone operations.
Post-flight log analysis is seen as an essential procedure for diagnosing aircraft abnormalities and optimising operations. Most checks and analysis have been possible only in a PC environment, making immediate on-site confirmation and response difficult and resulting in inefficiencies in time, manpower and equipment operations.
The company stressed that DRONEiT HUB is a mobile-based log analysis app developed to address these structural limitations.
DRONEiT HUB offers features including support for analysing open-source-based drone log files such as PX4 and Ardupilot, intuitive chart displays of flight paths, altitude, safety issues and sensor values, an approach that does not store data on servers to minimise data leakage and security risks, and free download and immediate use without membership registration.
