Flora has raised $42 million in Series A funding for its “intelligent canvas” platform that integrates generative AI design tools, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 28.
Redpoint Ventures led the round. Participants included Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch, Twitch founder Justin Kan and Frame.io CEO Emery Wells. Flora provides text, image and video generative AI in a single environment and supports various AI models including Google Gemini 2.5, OpenAI GPT-5 and Stability AI Stable Diffusion 3.5.
Flora CEO Weber Wong said, “AI tools are fragmented, and creative professionals are being left out.” He added, “Flora was designed to solve this.” The platform introduces the concept of “nodes” to generate different versions of the same design. Users can quickly test new designs based on text and images.
The company said designers at major firms including Nike, Levi’s, Starz Entertainment and Pentagram Design have adopted Flora.
Flora will use the funds to expand enterprise sales and marketing. It also plans to enhance its AI-based creative tools. Redpoint Ventures’ Alex Bard said, “Flora is building an environment where quality improves over time by directly reflecting creative judgment in the workflow.”
