Cloud-based collaboration software company Airtable has unveiled an AI agent called Superagent, TechCrunch reported on Jan. 27.
Founder and CEO Howie Liu (하위 리우) set out a goal of going beyond Airtable’s existing business through Superagent.
The company said Superagent is a “multi-agent orchestration system” focused on having multiple AIs, rather than a single AI, work together at the same time to perform complex tasks. For example, if a user asks about expanding into the European market, Superagent first draws up a research plan and then analyses financial, competitive and management factors to generate a comprehensive report. The company said it provides advanced AI collaboration, including interactive market analysis and data visualisation rather than simple text output.
Airtable is accelerating its shift to an AI-native platform by hiring former OpenAI employee David Ajous (데이비드 아조스) as CTO and acquiring AI agent startup DeepSky.
Superagent operates independently from Airtable and is available under various monthly plans priced from $20 to $200.
