Samsung SDS held an Enterprise AI Connect 2026 seminar at its Jamsil Campus Magellan Hall and shared a company-tailored AI full-stack strategy and a vision for global technology cooperation.
The seminar was arranged after Samsung SDS signed a reseller partner agreement with OpenAI to share AI adoption strategies and operational insights in corporate environments.
In a keynote, Lee Ho-jun (이호준), head of Samsung SDS' Cloud Service Business Division and a vice president, said Samsung SDS provides a structure that enables companies to continuously expand and upgrade AI beyond simple adoption through an AI full-stack strategy spanning AI consulting, platforms and infrastructure, data and security, model use, and operations and rollout.
He also explained that global AI technologies, including OpenAI, can be used safely within Samsung SDS' security governance system and that companies can flexibly choose AI adoption methods suited to their policies and environments.
Han Ji-eun (한지은), strategic account director at OpenAI Korea, introduced the work innovation effects of ChatGPT Enterprise and global use cases. She said Samsung SDS' reseller partner activities with OpenAI would further accelerate the pace of AI transformation among domestic companies.
In a panel discussion, Secta9ine and HanaTour, which adopted ChatGPT Enterprise through Samsung SDS, took part and shared the background to adoption and their practical experiences.
Secta9ine, which operates IT and marketing platforms for familiar brands such as Paris Baguette and Baskin Robbins as well as the HappyPoint membership, decided first to adopt ChatGPT Enterprise immediately after Samsung SDS signed the reseller partner agreement with OpenAI.
Secta9ine plans to actively use generative AI to improve productivity across all jobs, including development, data analysis and marketing, in an environment where corporate data security is ensured, and to provide a differentiated customer experience.
Choo Yeon-jin (추연진), an executive director at Secta9ine, stressed that the company will shift its companywide way of working to be "AI Native" starting with the adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise. She said it would speed up innovation through Samsung SDS' pre-assessment and technical support.
HanaTour is offering a multi-AI-agent-based service called H-AI and is providing differentiated AI services such as 24-hour real-time customer consultations and hyper-personalized travel product recommendations. It recently declared an "AI First Company" vision and is pursuing a strategy to roll out AI technology across all business areas, including B2C, B2B and B2B2C, to upgrade operational efficiency and customer experience at the same time.
Kim Tae-kwon (김태권), head of HanaTour's IT division and an executive director, cited as key reasons for adoption a strong security structure in which internal corporate data is not used for AI training, and the ability to prioritize use of top-performing models. He said he expects HanaTour's AX innovation to accelerate further through Samsung SDS' AI full-stack services, including ChatGPT Enterprise.
Samsung SDS also introduced its own employees' practical usage scenarios, along with customer cases. It said it is proceeding with ChatGPT Enterprise adoption contracts with various companies in addition to Secta9ine and HanaTour, which joined the panel discussion, and that inquiries about product adoption are rising quickly across industries including manufacturing, distribution, finance and the public sector.
Lee Jung-hun (이정헌), head of Samsung SDS' Strategic Marketing Office and a vice president, said the seminar was a chance to confirm in concrete terms how AI can be applied and expanded in corporate environments. He said Samsung SDS will contribute to accelerating AX innovation for more companies by combining industry-specific expertise with OpenAI's technology.
