Wantedlab is introducing a dedicated membership service that connects global and bilingual talent with companies.
Wantedlab said on Jan. 28 it is launching 'Wanted Global Membership' for business-bilingual talent, including Koreans seeking jobs overseas and foreigners seeking jobs at Korean companies.
The company said the service helps people preparing for global careers move away from applying individually to short-term job postings. It supports ongoing recommendations and management of opportunities tailored to bilingual capabilities and career goals.
Eligible members include Koreans seeking jobs overseas or at global companies, foreigners seeking global positions in South Korea, people who can conduct business communication in a language other than their mother tongue, and graduates of overseas universities and those with overseas living experience. The company said 'business level' means being able to perform actual work such as joining meetings, drafting documents and collaborating in a foreign language.
Members will receive global-membership benefits. These include 'Direct Matching', in which they are recommended first to corporate hiring managers when suitable global positions open. Benefits also include advance access to global hiring information beyond the Wanted platform, priority invitations to education and networking events related to global employment, and partner discounts.
A Wantedlab official said demand for K-talent is rising worldwide and global expansion by South Korean companies is accelerating, making bilingual talent more important than ever. The official said the membership is aimed not simply at people with strong language ability, but at connecting global companies with people who have both practical job capabilities and language competitiveness.
