Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, and Korea 153, the operator of Cheogatjib seasoned chicken, signed an MOU to raise franchisees’ online sales revenue and strengthen customer benefits, the company said on Jan. 28.
Key officials from both companies, including Kim Ji-hoon (김지훈), head of Woowa Brothers' business division, and Kim Jae-hoon (김재훈), an executive director at Korea 153, attended the signing ceremony held a day earlier at Woowa Brothers' headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

The two sides agreed to jointly plan and execute online-channel sales strategies, including menu optimization and new menu launches in line with delivery market trends, operating a brand page within the app and strengthening joint promotions.
They also plan to prepare various shared-growth programs for franchisees on the platform. Based on Woowa Brothers' global network and digital platform capabilities, they will 추진 cooperation to strengthen the Cheogatjib seasoned chicken brand's competitiveness in overseas markets.
They will also flesh out sharing activities for local communities. The two sides plan to join forces on social contribution projects, including Korea 153's "challenge promotion" and "Baemin vacation lunchboxes."
Kim said, "We will steadily build a foundation for the sustainable growth of platform stakeholders." Kim Jae-hoon said, "I hope that franchisees and both companies can grow together going forward."
