Google is launching its $7.99-a-month "Google AI Plus" plan in all markets, including the United States, TechCrunch reported on Jan. 27.
For $7.99 a month, Google AI Plus offers Gemini 3 Pro, Nano Banana Pro, Flow AI film-making tools and NotebookLM research support. It also includes 200GB of storage and the ability to share benefits with up to 5 family members.
Existing 2TB Google One Premium subscribers can automatically use AI Plus features. The plan is a cheaper option than the existing $20 "Google AI Pro". In India, it is priced at 399 rupees, or about $4.44 a month. It competes with OpenAI's "ChatGPT GO" plan and is seen as a strategy to expand AI access at a lower price. Google also offers new AI Plus subscribers a 50 percent discount for the first 2 months.
