Video Technology as a Service (VTaaS) company Catenoid said on Jan. 27 it was selected by e-commerce platform Cafe24 as a “2025 best partner”.
Cafe24 announces top partners each year after an overall evaluation of expertise and service operations capabilities for partners that contributed to improving customer value and service quality. Catenoid’s short-form video platform Chalna was recognized for providing solutions that reflect consumer needs in a rapidly changing e-commerce environment and for generating tangible customer results, the company said.
Chalna is a no-code video service that makes it easy to apply short-form content to a brand’s own online store without a complex development process. Since its launch in 2023, the cumulative number of subscribed shopping-mall brands has reached about 1,900.
Catenoid has formed a partnership with Cafe24 and is collaborating in various ways. In December last year, it hosted “Chalna Partner Day 2025” and shared commerce operations strategies using short-form content and real-world application cases with Cafe24. It also held offline seminars for tenants of the Cafe24 Startup Center.
Catenoid Chief Executive Hyung-seok Kim (김형석) said, “Short-form content has become an essential marketing tool that enhances brand experience and increases purchase conversion. Chalna was selected as a Cafe24 best partner after being recognized for providing short-form content optimized for the commerce environment in line with this trend and for contributing to improvements in customer dwell time and purchase conversion rates.” He added, “We will strengthen cooperation with Cafe24 to support more brands in using short-form services to enhance commerce competitiveness.”
