Henergy has launched a members-only renewable energy investment product in cooperation with OK Cashbag. Henergy said on Jan. 27 it has signed a marketing partnership with SK Planet and will launch “Maeweoldream Mohat MINI (OK Cashbag)” exclusively for OK Cashbag members.

Mohat is a renewable energy investment platform that Henergy officially launched in 2020. The new product targets new subscribers with no prior experience investing through Mohat. The minimum subscription amount is 500,000 won and the investment period is six months. Unlike existing products that paid interest in a lump sum at maturity, it pays interest monthly.

As of last month, Mohat posted cumulative investments of 420 billion won. Cumulative investments, which stood at about 220 billion won in November 2024, more than doubled in just over a year. Over the same period, the number of members rose 53.9 percent to 200,000 from 130,000.

To mark the launch, the company is running a promotion offering OK Cashbag points. New subscribers to “Maeweoldream Mohat MINI (OK Cashbag)” during the event period will receive a basic 80,000 points. Depending on the investment amount, benefits of up to 300,000 points will be provided. First-time subscribers to “Maeweoldream Mohat Plus”, a one-year, three-year and five-year product, will receive up to 500,000 points depending on the investment amount.

A Mohat official said, “We hope the marketing partnership with OK Cashbag will lower the psychological barrier to renewable energy investment and become an opportunity to contribute to eco-friendly energy production.” The official added, “We will continue to build partnerships with various platforms to invigorate energy investment.”
