CJ Olive Young said on Monday it will collaborate with the popular character Manggeureojin Bear throughout February.

Olive Young carried out collaborations last year with Sanrio Characters and Pop Mart Korea. Sales by brands participating in the Sanrio collaboration in July rose 60 percent from a year earlier, and 33,000 people visited the pop-up store over three weeks, setting a record high.

The Manggeureojin Bear collaboration involves 21 brands and will introduce 119 items. Character designs will be applied to skincare and color cosmetics, and giveaways will include pouches and coin purses. Lifestyle items such as doll key rings and tumblers will also be launched.

During the promotion, customers who spend 70,000 won or more at Olive Young stores and its online mall will receive limited-edition goods. A cushion blanket set and a storage pouch will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis on Feb. 1 and Feb. 13, respectively.

Trendpot by Olive Young Hongdae will run a pop-up space from Feb. 1 to 22 under the theme, "In the special dream of Manggeureojin Bear."

An Olive Young official said, "By collaborating with a range of IP, we will offer customers new experiences and continue to refine a collaboration model that grows together with our partner brands."
