Devsisters on Tuesday announced its 2026 operating plan for Cookie Run: OvenBreak.

Development studio OvenGames shared the service’s direction for this year through a YouTube live broadcast on Monday. This year, marking the service’s 10th anniversary, it plans to focus on expanding the world-view structure and strengthening core content.

It will step up the Cookie Run universe that runs across the entire Cookie Run intellectual property. It plans to cover parallel-world stories centered on the Time Management Bureau and the Dark Enchantress Cookie narrative. An update on Wednesday will introduce a new episode and events related to the Time Management Bureau.

It will also significantly upgrade key content. It will add a new episode to Breakout, the relay-run mode, and add class-based strategic elements to Raid Run to strengthen RPG-style fun. It also plans to expand Map Maker, a user creation system, to add more to do.

It also unveiled a first-half update roadmap. Starting with Baking Survival in February, new themed content will follow each month, including Dark Team Cookie in March, Mureung Secret Forest in April, the summer season in June and Sugar Nova in July.

In October, it will hold a large-scale update and an offline event to mark the service’s 10th anniversary. It plans to prepare what it called an unprecedented festival with users, including a Global World Championship.

Yeon Jeong-heum (연정흠), Cookie Run: OvenBreak director, said, "We will do our best to continue delivering enjoyment as a game that represents the running genre and a game that offers a play experience beyond that."
