[DigitalToday reporter Lee Ho-jung (이호정)] Com2uS said on Jan. 26 it will participate in the animation exhibition "Anime Japan 2026," to be held from March 28 to 29 at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan.
Anime Japan is a comprehensive animation exhibition held every March since 2014. More than 100,000 visitors attend each time. Animation and related game and toy companies from around the world take part, and a range of animation-focused events are staged in one place, including new title announcements, voice actor stage events, limited goods and game experiences.
Com2uS will set up a standalone booth at the event. It will introduce "Tounanaki Crimson Inferno" and "Gachiakuta: The Game" (tentative title), both based on Japanese animation with a global fandom, and step up its global push.
"Tounanaki Crimson Inferno" is a turn-based role-playing game based on the popular TV animation "Tounanaki." Com2uS is developing it to vividly bring the animation's deep story and distinctive character settings to life, and to deliver intense battles through 3D graphics and direction.
Another anticipated title, "Gachiakuta: The Game," is a survival action role-playing game based on the "Gachiakuta" animation, which has recently drawn significant attention. It is in production to let players enjoy flashy battles featuring multiple characters on console and PC, with its cartoon-style graphics, graffiti sensibility and dynamic action.
Com2uS plans to continue strengthening services for titles based on popular animation and game intellectual property in Korea and overseas. It also plans to broaden touchpoints with global fandoms and expand its market base.
