OK Savings Bank said on Jan. 26 it is running a "friend invitation event" for customers who hold demand deposit accounts.

Any individual customer can take part if they hold at least 1 OK Savings Bank demand deposit account, such as the OK Jjantech Account, OK Parking Flex Account or OK Eut Demand Deposit, and are enrolled in internet banking.

A customer who holds a demand deposit account can invite a friend through the event link. If the invited friend uses the link to open a new demand deposit account on the OK Savings Bank app, both the referrer and the new customer receive 1,000 won each, paid into their opened accounts. The benefit is available with only the newly opened account, without a separate application process.

Customers can send the OK Savings Bank demand deposit friend invitation link without a limit, but the referrer can receive the benefit up to 20 times.

An OK Savings Bank official said, "We prepared this friend referral event to broaden customer touchpoints centered on demand deposit accounts, which are highly useful for everyday financial transactions." The official added, "We expect the event will provide tangible benefits to existing customers and give new customers an opportunity to experience OK Savings Bank’s various demand deposit products."
